The Lapbook S15 N6 is a traditional 15.6-inch Windows 11 laptop aimed at work, study, entertainment, and everyday home computing. Its most notable buying angle is not just the included 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD, but the supplied option to expand both memory and storage later. For shoppers who want a larger-screen laptop without closing off future upgrades, that flexibility is worth a closer look.
What This Product Is Designed For
The supplied information positions this model for business, entertainment, and student use. Its 15.6-inch IPS screen has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, giving users more room than a compact laptop for documents, web pages, video playback, and side-by-side windows. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed, so it is intended to be ready for a standard Windows-based setup without a separate operating-system installation.
A full-size QWERTY keyboard with a numeric keypad makes the format particularly relevant for people who regularly enter numbers in spreadsheets, forms, or budgeting tools. The listed 1.62 kg weight may also be manageable for carrying between home, school, or an office, although buyers should consider the 15.6-inch footprint in relation to their bag and desk space.
What Stands Out
The upgrade path is the most practical differentiator in the supplied specifications. The laptop includes 8GB of DDR4 RAM and is listed as expandable to 16GB. It also has a 128GB M.2 SATA SSD plus an additional M.2 SATA slot that supports expansion up to 2TB. Buyers whose files, apps, or local media collections may grow over time can factor that into the decision rather than treating the included storage as the only long-term capacity.
Connectivity is another useful part of the package. Along with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, the supplied port list includes USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB-C for charging and data transfer, Mini HDMI, a microSD/TF card slot, and a headphone jack. This gives a desk-based setup several direct connection options for supported accessories and external displays.
Key Features Explained
- Full HD IPS display: The 1920 x 1080, 15.6-inch screen provides a standard Full HD workspace. Its listed matte finish may be a relevant detail for buyers who prefer a less glossy display surface.
- Intel N150 processor and 8GB RAM: The supplied configuration combines an Intel N150 processor, listed at up to 3.6 GHz, with 8GB of DDR4 RAM for general Windows tasks. The ability to expand RAM to 16GB is a separate consideration for buyers planning future changes.
- Two storage paths: A 128GB M.2 SATA SSD is included, while the additional M.2 SATA slot is listed for storage expansion up to 2TB. This can be more useful to a buyer who keeps files locally than a fixed single-drive arrangement.
- Ports for a flexible workspace: Mini HDMI can be relevant for a supported external display, while USB ports, USB-C, Bluetooth, and the microSD/TF slot broaden the ways supported peripherals and storage can connect.
- Privacy cover for the HD camera: The integrated front camera includes a physical privacy cover according to the supplied details. That gives users a direct way to cover the camera when it is not needed.
Who It’s Best For
This model may make sense for students and home users who want a 15.6-inch screen, Windows 11 Home, and a numeric keypad in one traditional laptop format. It can also fit office-oriented users who connect common USB accessories or a supported external display and appreciate having several connection types available. Buyers expecting to add files over time may find the listed second M.2 SATA slot especially relevant.
Things to Consider Before Buying
- Included storage is 128GB. While an additional M.2 SATA slot is listed for expansion, buyers with large local file libraries should consider whether they intend to add storage later.
- The listed memory starts at 8GB. The laptop is listed as upgradeable to 16GB, but shoppers should base their decision on the memory they need now and whether they are comfortable planning an upgrade.
- Display connections use Mini HDMI. Buyers planning to attach an external display should check that they have the appropriate compatible cable or adapter for their particular monitor.
- This is a 15.6-inch traditional laptop. Its listed dimensions are 14.05 by 9.05 by 0.79 inches, so portability-minded buyers should compare that size with their usual carrying setup.
How It Compares
Compared with a more compact laptop format, this model emphasizes a larger 15.6-inch display and a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad. Compared with a laptop that has only fixed internal storage, its supplied second M.2 SATA slot offers a potential capacity upgrade path. On the other hand, buyers who prioritize the smallest possible computer for travel may want to weigh the larger traditional-laptop dimensions against the benefit of the bigger screen and keypad.
ANICOM Verdict
The Lapbook S15 N6 is most relevant for buyers seeking a straightforward Windows 11 laptop with a Full HD 15.6-inch display, numeric keypad, privacy camera cover, and a practical selection of ports. Its supplied RAM and storage expansion options are the key details for shoppers who want room to adapt the machine over time. The main point to remember is that the included configuration starts with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage, so buyers should decide whether that starting capacity fits their needs or whether future upgrades are part of the plan.
